Hi, I’m Just Waiting For The Halloween Aisles At Target To Appear
While everyone else is preoccupied with seaside summer vacations and Christmas celebrations in July, my thoughts are firmly fixed on pumpkin patches and Dracula-themed decorations. It will be here before you know it, my fellow lovers of all things spooky who have been wondering when Target would put its Halloween aisle out will be able to shop.
When Will Halloween Decor Hit Target Shelves?
Target traditionally places tangible products on shop shelves for the autumn holiday around late July or early August, depending on the location. Target has not yet said when ghoulishly festive Halloween decorations will begin to emerge in stores this year, but if past trends are any indicator, you can anticipate the scary season to officially begin about the time that your back-to-school shopping is completed. While there is no set date for when you will be able to finally walk down the Halloween aisles with a PSL, according to a member of the Target marketing team, you will be able to peruse fresh new ghoulish things for the 2021 season online starting in early August.
Shop Target Halloween Decor Online Now
Personally, I can’t stand the thought of having to wait so long. I’ve been admiring Target’s Halloween decorations on their website for quite some time. Yes, I understand that summer is supposed to be all about sunlight, popsicles, and other such pleasantries, but I can’t stop myself from browsing through page after page of Halloween-themed goodies. (I may even slip a few products into my cart while my children are enjoying themselves in the pool.) You have to admit, it’s impossible to look at this The Nightmare Before Christmasdinnerware set and not think of the movie’s theme song.
Products that have been independently selected by Romper’s editorial staff are the only ones that we include.
Much of Target’s Halloween décor collection that is now available online is actually sold and distributed through Target Plus partners like The Lakeside Collection, which means that they are delivered to you directly from the manufacturer rather than through a Target store or warehouse.
(Which, if last year is any indicator, will be a complete and utter spooktacular experience.) Everything from Halloween wall posters and gnomes to display on shelves to outdoor inflatables featuring your child’s favorite characters in all of their ghoulish glory can be found online at Target, including a wide variety of Halloween-themed items.
- It is, without a doubt, the most lovely time of the year, filled with pranks and goodies.
- Boutique at Target is still the place to go forHalloween costumes this year, according to the company.
- With any luck, the choices available in stores this year will include even more entertaining options for children and their parents.
- Then, when all things Halloween finally make their way onto store shelves, you’ll be prepared to put them in your basket and have them delivered to your door.
Even if there will be more than 100 days until the formal start of the spookiest day of the year, internet shopping allows you to decorate your house in the spirit of the holiday at any time of the year.

- It’s only $20 and can be found here.
- You may also consider a Fabric Pumpkin for the season, and Target’s 8.5-Inch Large Harvest Fabric Wrapped Pumpkin with Tweed and Plaid captures all of the coziness of the season perfectly.

2021 Target Fall Home Decor Guide
It’s hard to believe that Fall is just around the corner once more! Fall is without a doubt my favorite season of the year, and it is during this season that I feel my home is at its happiest. Warm, cozy colors begin to appear in unexpected places around our home, which is then draped in knit blankets and filled with the scent of pumpkin spice to welcome us in. I’m really excited to get started on the decorating! Another incredible roundup of affordable Target Fall home decor pieces that are suitable for a variety of different styles can be found below.
What’s the best part?

Fall Home Decor – For the Contemporary Classic
This post’s collection is perhaps my favorite of the bunch. I appreciate that these items, while maintaining a modern and traditional aesthetic, also pay homage to the hues of the season, with accents of greens, oranges, whites, tans, and blacks throughout the ensemble. My particular favorite is the matching wreath and garland displayed above – both are so gorgeous, reflecting the subdued colours of fall that I am head over heels in love with!
For the Warm and Cozy Fall Decor Soul
A homage to all of the warm and cozy feelings associated with Fall – complete with rich warm tones, earthy textures, and a few bold accents thrown in. I really like this roundup, and I think it’s perfect for cottage-inspired homes as well as more traditional styles. Plus, I can’t stop staring at that wonderful storage basket, which is great for holding all of my chunky knit blankets and toss cushions.
For the Lover of Fall Neutrals
The great thing about neutrals is that they are never out of fashion. I really like that a lot of the pieces in this collection can be worn throughout the year, which is one of my favorite things about this collection. The tiny elements are going to be the main attraction in this space, with bold candlestick holders, pumpkins in every corner, and soft textures throughout the space. The beaded garland, I believe, also adds a level of dimension that is really enjoyable!
For the Simple Fall Decor Style
This collection is both simple and elegant at the same time — it is amazing. The stunning maroon artificial plant is the main focus of this arrangement, and it would make an excellent focal point for a fireplace mantle or dining table centerpiece, as shown here. The buffalo check rug is my personal favorite option for use under a welcome mat on the porch or to liven up the kitchen floor, among other applications. Everything is brought together by the elegant earthy tones, which create a beautifully perfect Fall bow!
For the Boho Inspired Fall Home
The materials in this space are giving me all of the bohemian feelings I could ask for. This collection of pieces is definitely heavy on the faux dried plants and natural tones, but it also brings out the warmth of fall with the burnt oranges and reds that are used throughout the collection.
The woven basket links everything together and would make an excellent coffee table centerpiece for storing books and a couple of pumpkins, if desired.
For the Fall Traditionalist
A little bit of grandma’s house with a little bit of a light up! Each piece in this collection incorporates all of the traditional elements: cozy blankets, textured pillows, basket-style storage solutions, candles in a statement lamp, and the perfect earthy plants. It is the colors that truly make this collection scream Fall, yet it still maintains a traditional design that is simple and sophisticated. Personally, I really like the way the pillows are arranged here and believe they would make a fantastic statement on any sofa!
I hope you enjoyed these carefully curated collections, which are suitable for every taste.

Target Fall Home Decor Finds
When I’m in Target, it’s virtually hard to stay on track with my shopping list. I make an effort to stay away from the Home Décor and Apparel aisles, but they constantly seem to scream my name! I’m sure I’m not the only one who dashes to Target for a brief getaway and manages to load her entire basket with a few items that aren’t really necessary. Particularly in the last two years, I’ve been blown away by the Home Décor products that have been offered as part of their Fall collection. For those of you who are still sprucing up your rooms for the season, I thought I’d share some of my Target Fall Home Décor Finds from this year with you on the blog.
The pieces I personally took home were featured in this Friday Five, and you may see them styled in my recent Fall Home Tour.

Threshold Pumpkin Woods Candle
Christina Butan is an ecommerce writer that works in the fashion industry. From the moment I lay eyes on this pumpkin-shaped candle, I knew it was meant to be mine. It is available in a variety of iconic autumn aromas, including apple cider donut and pumpkin spice. I’ve already purchased the $5 little Pumpkin Woods candle, and it smells incredible.
My favorite part is that it smells so good that I’m going to buy the larger two-wick ones so that the warm, spicy perfume can fill my whole living area. Fashion for the year 2021 is the goal. Purchase this item! Target has a Threshold Pumpkin Pumpkin Woods Candle for $10 (www.target.com).

OliveJune Nail Polish
Jessica Mattern, Ecommerce Editor: I’m in love with Olive and June’s range of nail polish since it allows me to do my own manicures at home and have them last a whole week while still looking salon-quality. It’s the only brand I’ll ever use from now on! I’ll be stocking up on some autumnal-inspired shades for the upcoming season, such as this rich brown that will go with just about everything I have planned for the season.Target Fashion 2021Buy It! Threshold Three Pumpkins Welcome Harvest Doormat
Nina Huang is a lifestyle ecommerce writer based in New York City. As a result of the cold and muddy weather of the fall and winter, filthy boots may rapidly accumulate in your doorway and make it look untidy. A doormat is therefore vital for wiping down shoe bottoms before entering your home. In keeping with the season’s famous all-things-pumpkin motif, this “Welcome Harvest” doormat is printed with lovely pumpkins that are sure to put a smile on the faces of anybody who comes to visit you. Target Fashion 2021 is now available for purchase!
Knox Rose Long Sleeve Babydoll Dress
Alex Apatoff is the Executive Editor of the magazine. I’ve been putting off buying one of these tiered babydoll dresses for the entire year of 2021, but with this outfit, I’m finally giving in. Aside from being a charming design and a suitable length, it’s also an inexpensive opportunity to experiment with the trend—and I’m already imaging how fantastic it will look with tights and boots in an apple orchard. Fashion for the year 2021 is the goal. Purchase this item! $29,99 for the Knox Rose Long Sleeve Babydoll Dress at target.com
Threshold Chunky Cable Knit Throw Blanket
Lily Gray is a writer for the home ecommerce industry. To be honest, I’m completely hooked with throw blankets – I have not one, but two enormous storage baskets bursting at the seams with them. Now that sweater weather has here, I have no qualms about swapping out my summertime teal throw for this new chunky knit throw. Given the $30 price-point, I might as well spend on a few fall hues like bronze, gold, and neutral to ensure that I have exactly the proper amount of warmth and weight on my shoulders throughout the season.
Target has a Threshold Chunky Cable Knit Throw Blanket for $30 (target.com).
Freres Branchiaux Amber Nights Candle
Mackenzie Schmidt is the Home and Travel Editor at ELLE Decor. Pumpkin spice and other highly sugary fall aromas are not my cup of tea, so when I start seeking a taste of hygge season at home, my imagination immediately goes to the smell of falling leaves and a fireplace, leather and wood, and other natural materials. There are a few of candles from the Black-owned firm Freres Branchiaux that I’m interested in purchasing.
Amber Nights, Black Leaves, and Whiskey Sweetsound like the perfect combination to me. Fall Supplies to Aim For in 2021 Purchase this item! Target has the Freres Branchiaux Amber Nights Candle for $22 (target.com).
Threshold Herringbone Woven Pumpkin Figurine
Erin Johnson, Senior Home Product Reviews Writer: I enjoy changing up my décor to reflect the changing seasons, but seasonal decor can be a little corny at times, which is why I created this guide. This herringbone pumpkin is a lovely tribute to the season, but it will also mix in quite well with the rest of my home.Target Fall Supplies 2021Buy It! Stars Above Lounge Sweatshirt
Hannah Chubb is the Home and Travel Editorial Assistant at Travel + Leisure. To be clear, when I say I’m infatuated with the Target’s Star Above collection, I’m not exaggerating. Since the outbreak of the epidemic began, I have been living in their buttery soft pajamas and loungewear, and I have no intentions to quit anytime soon. The fabric is very different from anything else I’ve ever worn, and it’s all really reasonably priced. While I often have a few new arrivals in my cart, this orange sweater is perfect for fall adventures with the family.

Opalhouse x Jungalow Stoneware Scalloped Serving Platter
Meg Soll, Food Ecommerce Editor, says, “I’m excited to be here.” Every item from Opalhouse’s Jungalowcollaboration, which includes so many gorgeously autumnal pieces like velvety velvet cushions and charming felted pumpkins, had me tempted to buy everything. It is this green stoneware scalloped plate coupled with an orange serving bowl that I have my eye on. These items will be both practical serving utensils as well as a beautiful display choice when we have company around. Fall entertaining doesn’t have to be dark and formal, and a pop of fashionable accessories may lighten things up as the days become shorter in the coming months as the days grow shorter.

All in Motion Long Sleeve Crop Top
Ms. Claudia Fisher, Deputy Ecommerce Editor, explains her role. Recently, I came to the understanding that workout-friendly long-sleeve shirts are one of the most underappreciated items of apparel, despite the fact that they are an autumn wardrobe essential in their own right. When the temperatures drop and I want to go for a run (read: brisk stroll) or to a fitness class, I’ll need a lightweight layering garment that I can drape over my tanks and tees. This lightweight alternative is adaptable enough to wear over practically anything.
Fashion for the year 2021 is the goal.
Target has an All in Motion Long Sleeve Crop Top for $20 (target.com).

Fall 2021 Is All About Comfort, Ease, Affordability, And Gathering Again In Target’s New Big Launch
This fall is going to be very different from last year — that much is certain. Eventually the kids will really attend school (after a year and a half of “homeschooling”), they will begin playing soccer, and we may even be able to tell what day of the week it is. Sure, the end of summer is usually a little depressing, but we are ready to get snug for the upcoming season. Today I’m showing you the new Target Threshold collection for autumn, which is all about warmth, clutter-free comfort, and setting up your house to encourage more analog moments in your life.
The Importance Of Comfort
I know I sound like a broken record, but as we spend more time in our homes (and I hope this trend continues), I require every piece of furniture to be comfortable and appealing. There isn’t much appeal to me in the chair that everyone secretly dreads taking a seat in. So, if you’re in the market for some new furniture, allow me to introduce you to a few of my favorite items that I just like. That green chair is just stunning, and it is a close second to this bench as my favorite piece of furniture from the autumn collection.
- The color is beautiful, the velvet is smooth and luxurious-looking (not cheap, I assure you), and the wood arms are a wonderful compliment to most couches on the market.
- It’s simply excellent — spacious enough to provide comfortable living space without being excessively massive.
- The seats have a sturdy feel to them, yet the leather has some give to them, making them really comfy.
- And that table – it’s such a fantastic, basic, and modern design that can be used in a variety of various types of rooms while still maintaining a contemporary feel and appearance.
- Likewise, Thevaseis a beautiful piece with a lot of texture but a straightforward design.

Smart Storage Pieces To Control The Clutter
You already know how I feel about clutter these days (I am NOT a member of the clutter-core movement), yet our lifestyles need the possession of some items, and many of us prefer to show off our more attractive possessions. The vertical bookshelves and hutches take up far less room than the horizontal ones, and they may be placed in many more places when they are thin enough. They are very gorgeous, they appear extremely high-end (yet are reasonably priced), and when paired with pretty canvas and leather bins, they can still conceal what you want to conceal (toys, remote controls and other little items) while still looking nice on a shelf.

It reminds me of the one that I had in our dining room in Los Angeles for years, but it’s even better because it includes half-closed storage for things like additional candles or linens for entertaining, which makes it a better option for small spaces.
Despite the fact that the black metal is very stylish and futuristic, the form and design are unquestionably vintage. As you can see in the photos below, we arranged it to fit in three separate rooms: the dining room, the den, and the living room.

If you’re looking for a horizontal media piece, this new credenza or media cabinet is a pretty darn good option. It may even be placed behind a couch facing out, where it can be used as a sofa table for lights as well as additional storage space for records or board games.
Fall Touchpoints In Decor – That Can Be Year-Round
Despite the fact that some things are uniquely fall (pumpkins), warm caramel-y tones and textures may be used all year long (or you can store them for every fall if you are a seasonal decorator). When it comes to broken stripe pillows, you know how much I love them, and that one is particularly lovely and would work in every single room in my house. All I’d need is that beautiful rust toned velvet pillow on our sofa to transition from summer to fall (because, yes, I am a seasonal decorator, which shouldn’t come as a surprise).
Baskets, Bins, And Clever Furniture
This is difficult to notice in these photos, but the basket above can be transformed from a low and broad configuration to a tall and deep configuration with a single latch adjustment. Because of the beautiful wood handle on top, this basket was a hit with everyone on set, including me, who isn’t usually a fan of baskets.1.Chair| 2.Sweet Home Hook| 3.Wire BasketWe placed it under the coffee table, which accommodates a stack of magazines and makes the room appear far more organized and pulled together.1.Chair|

- A circular coffee table is a favorite of ours at EHD, especially when the rest of your furniture is squared off.

- It appears to be high-end, and the combination of textures (linen, wood, and leather) makes it stand out.

Adding Warmth To The Bedroom
While you may not want to display pumpkins in your bedroom, warm fabrics may surely aid in the shift from summer to fall. In this case, Emily Bowser draped the gorgeous rust-toned blanket over a plain wood headboard, which now seems entirely upholstered and high-end (complete with mini-channel vertical tufting!) Layering textures such as a faux fur blanket, velvet bolster, and embroidered longer cushion helped to make the room appear incredibly pulled together, toasty without being overly formal.
Themirroris is OUTSTANDING – This big closet mirror elevates it from a standard closet mirror to a more significant piece of furniture.
Target did an excellent job.
This may be hung or leaned, and it would look amazing in a variety of settings (not just for bedrooms). I really like how Emily B. draped the dried flowers over the mirror to give it a little character and charm (and the fact that they are from Target doesn’t hurt either!).
We were also great admirers of the wicker lamp, which was simple, tactile, and could be used everywhere while still seeming bohemian in a really gentle way. 1.Table lamp 2.Mantel clock 3.Cream Flannel Bedding 4.Quilt 5.Grid Oversized Lumbar Pillow 6.Velvet Bolster Pillow 7.24′′ x 30′′ European Hillside Framed Wall Art 8.Faux branch 9.Mirror 10.Plaid Sheets 11.Dot Sheets 12.Faux fur throw blanket 17.Nightstand 18.
Time To Gather And Entertain
There will be additional gatherings in the fall, but the majority of these pieces are suitable for use all year. There are heavypottery plates that appear to have been completely hand thrown. Yet the loveliest tiny individual french onion soup containers (interesting fact: this is Brian’s favorite soup, and it is the only one I have never cooked myself). I’ve already planned something special for his birthday in October (ahem CROCKtober, now). I swear by those glasses (they’re thin, contemporary, and extremely difficult to shatter), and both the terracotta vase and the amber vessel are excellent additions to Emily B.’s collection, which she wanted to take home with her once the photoshoot was over.

Analog Experiences For Family AND Friends – WAHOO!
Because of covid, our family has had to radically alter our screentime habits, and we’ve made a concerted effort over the last several months to avoid using screens as much as possible (except our kindles). Board games, listening to records (the kids have Brian’s old record player in their playroom), and other activities have grown in popularity and have been a source of great enjoyment for us all (and make us feel less like garbage parents). And, sure, Target has all of those albums – including a slew of excellent ones that are both vintage and current pop in style.
For us, the Grateful Dead, Miles Davis, and Taylor Swift are the most popular artists to listen to on vinyl because they motivate us to listen to whole albums from beginning to end.
The Fall Target Launch will take place in the fall.
Everyone has the right to live in a welcoming and comfortable home throughout the year.
