Have You Ever Wondered Why Hobby Lobby Doesn’t Carry Halloween Decor?

Right now, I’m in full-blown Halloween mood. For example, I could start putting together my Halloween decorations right now. So, naturally, I’m looking forward to seeing what stores in my neighborhood have in stock for Halloween, and to my surprise, many haven’t yet. Hobby Lobby used to be THE place to go for Halloween and Christmas decorations in the middle of July, but it turns out that Hobby Lobby hasn’t been selling Halloween decorations (at least not in my store) for the last 2 years or so, and I started to wonder why.

In truth, customers have inquired as to why Hobby Lobby does not stock Halloween items, and the following was provided as an answer: When I went to Hobby Lobby last year and inquired as to why they didn’t have any Halloween decorations, they said that it was due to the religious and historical significance associated with the origins of Halloween.

Source Of course, you’ll discover a wide variety of pumpkins and fall-themed stuff, but you won’t find anything related to Halloween, such as zombies, spiders, witches, skulls, or anything else that may be frightening.

As a result, it isn’t totally consistent.

And it’s a shame because I’m confident that if Hobby Lobby did carry Halloween products, they would be really adorable and sell like hotcakes.

Looking for a Hobby Lobby Coupon?

I imagine a lovely afternoon spent strolling through the aisles of Hobby Lobby, daydreaming of new ways to spruce up my home. However, I will have to keep an eye on how much money I spend there! With their Hobby Lobby deals, they always offer such a fantastic selection of home décor goods! When it comes to lovely home decor and super-cute craftiness, chances are you’ve heard of Hobby Lobby. But, do you know all of the finest money-saving tips and strategies to use while you’re there? In this post, we’ll show you nine simple methods to save money at Hobby Lobby that will make your enjoyment of shopping there just a little bit more cheap — whether or not you have a Hobby Lobby coupon handy.

9 Ways to Save at Hobby Lobby

Combine a shop sale with a coupon for the biggest savings at Hobby Lobby. This will help you to obtain a great deal and save a lot of money at the same time. A Hobby Lobby coupon is now available in theEntertainment Book. Because these books are jam-packed with coupons for retail establishments and restaurants, the money will most likely be recouped rather fast. While they no longer have the Hobby Lobby 40 off coupon that they used to have, they still offer regularly reduced things that are 40 – 50% off every week as part of their weekly ad that may be seen here.

What happened to the Hobby Lobby 40 off coupon?

As of February 28th, 2021, Hobby Lobby will no longer be offering a 40 percent OFF coupon in-store or on their website. Instead than offering a discount on a single item, a representative from Hobby Lobby claimed that this would allow them to “intensify efforts to discount thousands of goods every day,” rather than just one item. To be really honest, a lot of their merchandise is usually on sale, and it was sometimes tough to locate an item that was normally priced that I could use the 40 percent off coupon on.

Because Hobby Lobby 40-percent-off coupons will no longer be available, be sure to download the Hobby Lobby app, which contains information on their weekly store deals.

(iPhoneandAndroid) The scannable coupon has never been accompanied by a promotional code, so if we come across one in the future, we’ll be sure to let you know about it.

2. Learn Hobby Lobby’s Sale Schedule.

One of my BEST secret ideas for saving money at Hobby Lobby is to become familiar with the store’s sales calendar. For those of you who were unaware that Hobby Lobby changes its sale products on a regular basis, this will forever alter your shopping habits! A number of things are on sale every three weeks, while others are on sale every four weeks, and a few items are on sale EVERY SINGLE WEEK. (Do you like t-shirts?

(It is always on sale!) It’s important to be aware of both the usual and discount pricing so that you don’t overpay for something. However, here are some instances of the sales cycle at Hobby Lobby for the current week. You can see the current Hobby Lobby sale ad here. ALWAYS AVAILABLE FOR SALE:

  • Furniture, floral arrangements, T-shirts, trees, plants, some fabric, frames, and posters are among the items available.

Every other week, these items are available for purchase:

  • Every other week, these items are available for purchase.

Every four weeks, three weeks are devoted to: Every four weeks, three weeks are spent in the following circumstances: Every 4 weeks: Once a month:

  • Home decor, paper crafting and stationery, select fabrics, men’s decor, and scrapbooking supplies are all available at this location.

Of course, there are some items that will never, ever be on sale, and you will not be able to use a Hobby Lobby coupon on them. Candy and cake decorating materials, gift wrap, party supplies, bakeware, and Cricut branded products are among the items available. In addition to seasonal party materials and gift wrap, you will be able to discover them on their CLEARANCE wall. When it comes to party supplies, I highly recommend visiting the Dollar Tree because they have tons of adorable items for only $1!

3. Look for Clearance After Holidays!

After every holiday, one of my favorite times to shop at Hobby Lobby is right thereafter. You’ll discover a plethora of clearance items, and if you wait long enough, they’ll be reduced to 90 percent off! I take advantage of these opportunities to stock up on things for next year’s Holiday season – and then keep them in a tote. Each year, when I open my Christmas tote, I’m pleasantly surprised to find a plethora of festive ribbon and decorating items already inside!

  • After Christmas, Easter, the Fourth of July, Valentine’s Day, Thanksgiving, and Halloween, retailers will discount their merchandise. In addition, as the season draws to a close, look for season-specific products — I enjoy stocking up on adorable pieces for next year! For example, you may get a lot of summer toys near the conclusion of the summer season – even halfway through the summer season, they’re already discounted by 66 percent
  • Right before the holiday, you may find clearance items for up to 50% off
  • After that, the prices will drop to 66 percent, 80 percent, and eventually 90 percent. Keep in mind that the selection will be limited by the time it is reduced to 90 percent off, but that whatever gems you do uncover will be quite inexpensive

4. ScoreOnlineClearance Deals.

If the clearance section of your local store is always completely devoid of merchandise, give the Hobby Lobbyonline clearance section a try! Long after the stores have finished clearing out their seasonal inventory, you can find rock-bottom clearance prices online. It’s the procrastinator’s dream come true! Shipping, on the other hand, is not inexpensive, so wait till Hobby Lobby hosts a free shipping event before going bargain searching online! Sign up for Hobby Lobby’s email list to be the first to know when the Free Shipping events take place (which are usually a couple of times per month).

5. Hobby Lobby Price Matches.

This is a good one to play! Hobby Lobby will price match competitors such as Michael’s or JoAnn’s – but you must follow a few rules in order to be eligible:

  • It is necessary that the item be an EXACT match. You must have a tangible copy of the competitor’s advertisement in your possession. It is not possible to combine a Hobby Lobby coupon with a price match.

6. ScratchDent = Bigger Discounts.

My favorite kind of find is a good scratch and dent find! If you come across something you want but it has a small scratch on it or is otherwise damaged in any manner, you can ask the cashier to reduce it even more by mentioning it. A typical discount is 10 percent to 15 percent off the item’s regular price, which can result in a great deal!

7. Grab a Raincheck for Sold Out Items.

The practice of asking for a rain check when an item you want is out of stock has become one of my favorite tactics that I use in all of my couponing and bargain buying activities. This is true for Hobby Lobby as well! If anything is on sale but has already been snapped up, simply call customer service, and Hobby Lobby will respect the price on your rain check when the item returns to the store’s shelves.

Additionally, you might be interested to hear that Hobby Lobby locations never keep excess inventory stashed away in the back of the store. Everything they receive is immediately placed on the floor, so what you see is exactly what you get!

8. Hobby Lobby has great prices on poster board.

This one may seem a little out of the ordinary, but I enjoy purchasing poster board at Hobby Lobby! My children are constantly up to some sort of project at school, and while the Dollar Tree offers white poster board on sale for 2/$1 every day, their colorful poster board is just $.69 per sheet. Every few weeks, Hobby Lobby offers all of their poster board (including colored poster board) for 2/$1 (including colored poster board), which is worth keeping an eye out for when you’re there.

9. Will Hobby Lobby Price Adjust? You Bet!

For those who require fabric or decor RIGHT AWAY, at full price, only to discover that it is on sale the following week, hobby lobby is the place to go. Simply bring in your receipt together with the items and you will be eligible for a price adjustment up to 14 days after making your purchase. It’s always wonderful to have some money back in your pocket (please note that this does not applicable to clearance events)! To summarize, the top three ways to save money at Hobby Lobby include the following:

  1. When shopping at Hobby Lobby, use a coupon (grab theEntertainment Book Coupon now that the Hobby Lobby 40% off coupon is no longer available)
  2. And In the meanwhile, you may wait for sales to cycle around (download the Hobby Lobby app so you can see the sale advertisements quickly)
  3. Visiting the sale aisles at Hobby Lobby to take advantage of large markdowns

Please share your best techniques for saving money at Hobby Lobby– as well as your favorite items to purchase from the store– with me!

Appropriate timing for fall decorations

As the fall season approaches, ACHS members have differing perspectives on when it is ‘too early’ for stores to begin stocking their shelves with fall decorations. The date is September 13, 2021. Whenever the weather lowers and the leaves begin to change color, the general public flocks to Starbucks to get pumpkin spice lattes. Some people are more appreciative of the fall season than others, and they rush to decor stores as soon as they notice pumpkins in the window displays. Others, on the other hand, believe that the decorations should not be shown until September at the earliest.

  • According to Stacy, a Hobby Lobby employee in Round Lake Beach, “business starts to pick up around September and by October it’s non-stop until Christmas.” Stacy has been working at Hobby Lobby for 11 years, and she has seen many seasons come and go during that time.
  • Consumers, on the other hand, have a different point of view.
  • “I think the best period would be around the middle of August,” seniorElizabeth Bongratz said.
  • Individuals go to places like Marshalls and Hobby Lobby during the holiday season, but from January through July, barely a trickle of people can be found at these locations.
  • “I usually start shopping for fall clothes in the middle of September.” Considering the upcoming winter holidays, some people adhere to the unspoken rule that Christmas decorations are only available after Thanksgiving.

“My family puts up Christmas decorations after my birthday, which is in the middle of December,” Bongratz explained. It’s never too early to get into the holiday mood at Hobby Lobby, which keeps their Christmas isle stocked all year round.

There are over 900 stores across the United States, and the company also conducts a significant amount of business online through its website. Hobby Lobby has a wide variety of decorating goods, ranging from home décor and furnishings to flower and wedding accessories, all of which are reasonably priced. For those of you who are interested in creating wearable art or other fiber crafts, you’ll be pleased to know that Hobby Lobby offers a comprehensive selection of fabrics, in addition to yarns and other needle art supplies.

Gift cards may also be redeemed for purchases both online and in-store, making shopping more convenient. For further information, please see the “Gift Cards” option in the website’s menu.

Shop Hobby Lobby Sale Items

When you shop at HobbyLobby.com, look for the “On Sale” checkbox near the top of the page when you are browsing through the categories. When you click on this, the page will be filtered to show you only the items that are currently on sale. Additionally, when shopping, keep an eye out for the circular red “Sale” tag, which highlights item listings that are on sale. Many of the things on sale are discounted by around 40%.

Use the Convenient Hobby Lobby App

Make sure to download the Hobby Lobby mobile application. You can quickly view the most recent weekly ads, update your account information, check on online orders, find nearby Hobby Lobby stores, and more. You may utilize electronic coupons for in-store purchases, which is one of the most useful aspects of the app. You can access electronic coupons using the app’s search function.

Hobby Lobby Online Account

When you shop online, you have the option of checking out with or without a user account on the website. You will be able to keep wish lists and shopping carts, speed up the checkout process, and conveniently monitor and track your orders if you create an account with us.

In-Store Hacks for Hobby Lobby

When you’re shopping in-store, if you bring in a competitor’s advertisement, Hobby Lobby will frequently match the price of the item. Hobby Lobby should be able to provide a cheaper price on the exact same item that the advertisement promotes. Price matching does not apply to “percent off” advertisements, on the other hand. Certain brands and categories are barred from participating, and price matching is not accessible for purchases made online. The Customer Service FAQpage has further information on this topic as well.

Hobby Lobby Rain Checks

A rain check from Hobby Lobby is available if an in-store item is on sale but is out of stock at the time of purchase. This way, you’ll be able to take advantage of the reduced price on the item when it returns to stock.

When particular goods are on sale, rain checks are provided; however, when whole retail categories (such as “the complete stock of home décor”) are on sale, rain checks are not provided. Rain checks may only be obtained and redeemed in-person at the location where the purchase was made.

Hobby Lobby Discounts for Schools and Charities

If you’re shopping at Hobby Lobby for things for your school or charity, be sure to ask Customer Service about any applicable discounts before you make your purchase. The store offers a 10 percent discount to schools, churches, and charitable organizations on a regular basis. There are certain limits, such as the fact that the discount is generally only accessible in-store and that it may only be utilized when paying using the organization’s payment card or check. This discount is outlined in further detail under the “DonationsMinistry” link in the website’s navigation menu.

Halloween Decor

This past weekend, we took down the Halloween bins, and I am beyond excited to share them with you! I went all black and white last year, and this year I brought back some of my very favorite pieces that have orange in them, and I had a lot of fun incorporating them into my look as well as possible. The mantle was the most significant thing I accomplished. I started with a pair of garlands that I purchased years ago from Hobby Lobby and then added some extra pieces from some picks that I purchased from Michaels.

  • The black netting and crows had been in my possession for some years, and I finished it off with a couple of strands of battery-operated fairy lights.
  • To hang them here, I just utilized command hooks, and it couldn’t have been much simpler!
  • a couple of amusing pillows An old galvanized haunted house, a pumpkin and a feather tree were added to the console table as finishing touches.
  • Photo frame decorations from Amazon that are quite basic.
  • It’s so much fun to have all of the Halloween images out!
  • This is the favorite of my children!
  • Then there’s a stack of Halloween melamine plates on a tray on the counter, which is a nice touch.
  • By the sink, I have two jack-o-lanterns that are a good match.
  • It’s one of my absolute favorite things to pull out every Fall: this pumpkin dutch oven.
  • Then there was another pumpkin in the living room, as well as more spooky houses.
  • Oh!
