Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Settlement Guide

When you first start playing Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you will build a village that will serve as your main hub. During the course of your tour, that tiny collection of tents gradually transforms into a busy metropolis of people.

Seeing the results of your efforts is really satisfying, but if you’re looking for some pointers on how to get the most out of your efforts, you’ve come to the right spot. Here are some pointers on how to prioritize your settlement’s growth when it’s time to expand.

Priority One: Raid Like Your City Depends On It

The first thing you want to do in order to enhance your settlement is really going to need you to abandon your village. I understand that this appears to be illogical, but in order to create new structures, you must first gather raw materials, which you can only obtain by successfully performing raids. It is also recommended that you spend some time sailing about Ravensthorpe and looting the nearby monasteries for commodities (they aren’t actually in need of them) in the early game. There are numerous readily completeable raids within a short sail of your colony; the complexity of these raids correlates to the suggested power level of the region in which they are located.

As your colony progresses through the levels, you will acquire access to an increasing number of services.

Priority Two: Don’t Hide From The Hidden Ones

The Assassins, as known to everyone who has played an Assassin’s Creed video game, are an old secret society that operates in the shadows, influencing world events to secure the survival of individual liberties. This bureau is essentially their headquarters in England, and it may be constructed before your community has reached a certain degree of development. A unique chain of missions will be launched from this location, and you’ll be tasked with tracking down and destroying representatives from The Order of the Ancients (don’t worry, they’ve earned it).

Priority Three: Appoint A Jomsviking At The Barracks

Everyone, even the members of your raiding team, requires a restful night’s sleep to function properly. The Barracks is a site where the members of your fellow Vikings dwell, and it may also be built before your community reaches a certain degree of development. More significantly, after you have constructed the Barracks, you will be able to speak with the quartermaster, who will let you to assign and tailor a Jomsviking to your needs. In truth, the Jomsviking were a very selective order of Viking mercenaries who belonged to an aristocratic Viking clan.

In particular, once you’ve connected to the internet, other Assassin’s Creed Valhalla players will be able to recruit your Jomsviking to their raiding party (just as they can recruit other players’ creations), and for each time your Jomsviking is recruited, you’ll receive 100 silver from the quartermaster.

Priority Four: Throw A Feast

By ringing the bell at the door to your longhouse when your settlement has achieved level 4, you may host a feast for all of your neighbors. There are some concrete advantages to overindulging. Additionally, eating provides a temporary boost to Eivor’s stats as well as those of their raiding party, making it a fun time for all.

These temporary rewards differ from feast to feast, but you may increase the value of those benefits by extending your town even further. Adding more health enhancements to feasts, for example, is provided by the Bakery, while adding further armor increases is provided by the Farm.

Other Things To Consider:

If you have concentrated on the items listed above, you will have a great deal of flexibility in determining how to proceed with your settlement. It is expected that you will be able to create every structure in the town by completion of the game, however the sequence in which you unlock each building is mostly up to your personal preferences. If you want to further personalize Eivor’s appearance, you’ll probably want to construct a Tattoo and Barber Shop on his property. If you wish to go treasure hunting, you need first construct the Cartographer’s home and then acquire special maps that point out valuable locations around England.

  • Take some time early on to go about your colony and choose the cosmetic decorations that will enhance the overall appearance of the place. Furthermore, it is completely free and serves to establish the tone for your community. Keep in touch with the individuals that work in each new building since they frequently provide missions for you to fulfill. Moreover, they are now your neighbors, so be courteous to them
  • It is possible to start fishing from any location where there is water using the Fishing cabin, and the fish you catch can be sold for money. This is a respectable technique to gain silver in the early stages of the game. In addition, in the fishing hut, you can trade special fish for one-of-a-kind gifts. The stables are an excellent place to improve the condition of your horse. In order to navigate England more easily, you may teach your horse to swim, which you should do as soon as possible. It is worth noting that there are other stables across the world where you may teach your horse new things, so if you’re strapped for cash in the beginning, don’t worry about the stables. Considering that the shipyard is the only spot in the game where you may modify your ship, you may wish to construct the Shipyard right away as it becomes accessible

Even while the village in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is a pleasant new addition to the franchise, it’s only a minor fraction of the game’s overall scope. Take a look at our list of Valhalla’s top abilities, as well as where you may learn them.

Home Decor achievement in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Throughout your colony, you will find little red statues (which resemble a red drake) that allow you to install a “Decorative Element”/item for the purpose of customizing your environment and appearance. To complete this accomplishment, you must place one object at each of the four locations. You may use the same object to place it in several locations. It is not necessary to have a unique object for each place. In order for all of the sites to emerge, you must achieve settlement level 4. There are 16 places, which may be seen in the following table: I’ve put something on every single location, and this hasn’t worked out for me yet.

  • As a settlement level 4 player, I’ve noticed that all of the aesthetic slots have vanished.
  • It wasn’t until now that I realized I’d been tampering with them.
  • I attained level 4 after completing the Ledecestrescire tale; is it possible that the invasion at the conclusion of the storyline caused my village to become unusable?
  • After asking on Reddit, I was able to track out the problem.
  • Bylepeau83 at 18:44 on the 26th of March, 2011.
  • Thank you really much:) DesiXSon has posted a message.
  • on March 28, 2019, In order for the posts to appear, you must have all of the structures completed.

As soon as I finished the last structure, all of the decorative posts began to materialize.

Also, one of the Ostara Festival Quests required you to decorate 5 of the sites, but that quest got stuck at 4/5, which worked out well for me because walking near the place would designate the decorating stand, which made this quite simple.

For once, a terrible bug for one item turned out to be really beneficial for another thing.

I didn’t get what you meant by “by the tree.” The tree is in front of the assassins’ location, and the tree may be changed.

I even went so far as to include the three new ones across the creek.

I was under the impression that mine was bugged as well.

I believe it’s the first one you see to the right, behind the red statue, where there’s a cask of mead to be found. I was under the impression that it was the decoration that I had placed earlier, but it wasn’t. Thank you for your assistance. Posted byMAJICO70 on December 21st, 2005 at 05:51

How to Decorate Ravensthorpe Settlement – AC Valhalla Guide

The Ostara Festival is a new upgrade that players may participate in in AC Valhalla, and it is free. This new version includes a large number of interactive tasks designed to commemorate the Vikings’ momentous Ostara Festival. “Let’s Get Festive,” one of the more straightforward side missions, tasks Eivor with the task of decorating five venues for the upcoming festival. A problem has been discovered by players who have complained that they are unable to complete the quest because of the update, which adds three additional places to Ostara Festival.

First and foremost, let us discuss how to begin the Let’s Get Festive task in preparation for the fantastic Ostara Festival.

1. How to Start the Let’s Get Festive Quest in AC Valhalla’s Ostara Festival?

Norvid Let’s Get Festive requires players to approach Norvid and speak with him about the Ostara Festival in order to begin the quest line. He will seek Eivor for assistance in decorating the Ravensthorpe village and will provide him with 20 Festive Tokens for the purpose. Then Eivor can approach each of the Dragon Pedestals and press Y to add a decorative feature to each of the Dragon Pedestals. Once the task is completed, Eivor can return to Norvid and report back on the progress, earning the remaining 30 Festive Tokens in the process.

i. How to Find the Decorative Areas in Let’s Get Festive Quest?

Aesthetically pleasing area During the Let’s Get Festive objective for the Ostara Festival update in AC Valhalla, Eivor is tasked with decorating five different areas within the village. Immediately after installation, the locations of each Dragon Pedestal for the ornamental sections are marked with markers so that they may be easily identified. However, in conjunction with the new Ostara holiday update, a new problem has been introduced into the game, which affects the Let’s Get Festive task.

2. What is the Let’s Get Festive Bug in AC Valhalla?

Adding a Personal Touch to the Settlement The Let’s Get Festive bug/glitch has made it difficult for players to decorate the Ravensthorpe settlement as a result of the Let’s Get Festive bug/glitch. It’s been noted that some players are having difficulty locating the Dragon markings, and that others are having difficulty putting the ornamental items on their characters. If you’re suffering from the bug as well and have been scouring the depths of the internet for a remedy, you’ve come to the right place.

3. How to Fix the Let’s Get Festive Bug in AC Valhalla?

If you’re having trouble adding Let’s Get Festive decorations to a specific place, a fast restart and save may be all that’s needed to resolve the problem. A different narrative, however, will unfold if the problem remains throughout all of the sites. We’re implementing a server-side update to address a spike in crashes around Ravensthorpe, which has been reported recently. Decorations in settlements will be temporarily removed, and missions involving decorations in the Ostara Festival will be inaccessible for a while.

pic.twitter.com/gYG7O8dvF3 — The Assassin’s Creed Twitter account (@assassinscreed) The date is March 20, 2021.

If you’re wondering why the quest symbol isn’t displayed on the map in Ravensthorpe, don’t worry, it’s not a new glitch, but rather the developer has decided to remove the specific task from the game.

However, if you are unable to access the decorative quest, you may still participate in the other missions and have a great time with the game. Get Assassin’s Creed Valhalla on your console of choice:

  1. (Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) You should keep in mind that, should you meet a Raid while on foot, all you have to do is pick the crossed axes on your radial menu (raiderial.?) and your longship crew will be summoned to assist you.
  2. When the music stops playing and you see the words ‘Raid complete’ on the screen, you’ll know you’re finished.
  3. As you spend, you will also profit from several tale evolutions, which means that the incentives are not limited to gaming prizes alone.
  4. Even better, you won’t have to walk back to the sign outside to figure out how much resources you’ll require.
  5. With the exception of a number of very necessary buildings at the very beginning, the decision of where to improve initially is entirely up to you.

A list of resources for Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, including carbon ingots, opal, arrows, legendary animals, and the Gorm.

Blacksmith

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) You can’t avoid creating the Blacksmiths since Gunnar’s forge is the first structure you will renovate as part of your expanding city. In addition to upgrading your gear from normal to Superior, Gunnar may also enhance your gear to Flawless and Mythical. Throughout each level, you’ll find smaller levels that you may develop with your own resources. However, in order to achieve Flawless, you’ll need nickel ingots, and in order to reach Mythical, you’ll need tungsten ingots.

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Another inevitable improvement, Hytham’s Hidden Ones Bureau is a must buy if you want to be able to go out and slay the members of the Order of the Ancients all throughout Mercia without being interrupted.

With this feature, you no longer have to scramble down from cliff faces like some kind of Muggle with a concealed sword.

So make a point of returning to him with your prizes on a regular basis.

Barracks

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) The barracks, which is overseen by Eydis, will let you to construct your own Jomsviking, who will not only accompany you on Raids but will also appear in other people’s games. Keep checking in to see whether they hire them since you’ll get silver if they do. Additionally, you may organize your Raiding crew here so that if you’ve just joined a new settlement member during the campaign, you can ensure that they accompany you while out and about. Alternatively, if you really cannot get enough of those dice and God Favors, you may visit the Orlog table located here.

Trading Post

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Yanli’s trading station is another important one in this area, since you’ll need it to keep selling all of your trinkets for silver and to acquire all kinds of tattoos and schematics. Later in the game, you’ll be able to purchase carbon ingots at this location, which will make it simpler to enhance your weapons and armor. The opportunity to purchase arrows if you’ve managed to run out, as well as meals, will let you feel more prepared before heading back out to pillage.

Stable and Aviary

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Rowan’s stable is not only where you can purchase new mounts with your hard-earned silver, but it is also where you can train your ride to swim and improve their endurance.

This is where you may swap out your mount and replace your raven if you don’t feel like you’ve found the proper feathery companion for you. Unlike in Origins or Odyssey, you can’t switch mounts mid-flight, so be sure you like the person you’re riding with before you go off.

Fishing Hut

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) According to expectations, the Fishing Hut is where you will deliver fish to the lovely Arth, who has been entrusted with the responsibility of running the establishment by his grandfather. Building this grants you access to the fishing line and provides you with a shopping list of certain species that you can use to gain prizes. You may pick up the books of Fantastic Fish and Where To Find Them – should JK’s attorneys get in touch? – from the many sellers dispersed over the country and go fishing for Arth’s added prizes, which are a good way to pass some time without cutting off limbs.

As uncivilized as that may seem, it is true.

Tattoo Shop

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Except for the ability to make your Eivor seem as terrifying and spectacular as possible, the Tattoo Shop will not provide you with many practical in-game benefits early on, as you might anticipate. Assuming you have the ability to postpone altering your tattoos and hair, make sure you have all of your other critical structures in place first. When you’re out and about, make a point of tracking down some tattoo parchments so that you may celebrate the eventual opening with a whole bunch of pain-free inking.

Shipyard

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, your shipyard is a purely functional enhancement. This will allow you to fine-tune each component of your longship using schematics that you’ll be able to locate all across England. Keep an eye out for them on Treasure Horde maps, and you’ll be able to alter up your sails till the, um, prows return home until the prows come home. This is another another insignificant addition, so be certain that you have other, more vital structures in place before spending your resources on it.

Cartographer

Ubisoft provided the image. Aside from being aesthetically pleasing, your shipyard is a one-time investment. Each component of your longship will be able to be customized using schematics that you will be able to locate all across England. Keep an eye out for them on Treasure Horde maps, and you’ll be able to alter up your sails till the, eh, prows come home until you find one that suits your fancy. As with the last expansion, make certain that you have other, more vital structures in place before spending your resources on this one as well.

Hunter’s Hut

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) The Hunters Hut features a similar shopping list to the Fishing Hut, which includes deer hooves, animal intestines, and viper eggs, all of which may be used to win prizes. Reunite with Petra and Wallace, and you’ll have the opportunity to trade in your Legendary Animal skins for a variety of glittering new items.

Unfortunately, they will not provide you with the Legendary Animal locations; you will be need to find them on your own. Alternatively, you may consult our Assassin’s Creed Valhalla Legendary Animals guide.

Seer’s Hut

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Valka’s mansion serves as a portal to two vast mythological realms, therefore you’ll want to save enough resources in order to open her residence as quickly as possible. Once you’ve created the potion that allows you to ‘travel’, you’ll be able to come and go as you like from her home, and you won’t be required to complete these worlds in order to complete the main campaign.

Museum

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Another ‘nice to have but not absolutely necessary’ first investment is presented here. Octavian, who is enamored with the Romans, is eager to fill his Museum with the Roman artifacts that have been spread over the world. While he will accept individuals, he will only accept groups of people, eliminating the need to transport them back and forth on a regular basis.

Reda (Thousand Eyes)

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Yes, that’s right, the Opal salesman. There’s no need to be concerned about squandering valuable resources because the Thousand Eyes will establish a base in your community when you’ve finished many parts of England. Reda will be offering contracts in return for Opal, as well as a daily rotating assortment of gear and stuff, in this location. Taking a gamble on that skull face tattoo now, or waiting to see what he has planned for the future. Also keep in mind that if you run out of tasks from Reda, there are additional Thousand Eyes youngsters dispersed across the cities of Jorvik and Lunden, so you will always be able to discover more Opal to complete your quest.

Buildings to improve the feast buff

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) When you ring the bell outside the longhouse and gather with your Viking crew, all of the structures listed below will help to enhance the overall feast bonus. The most of them may be left unlocked until much later in the game, but you must unlock at least one in order to be able to start ringing the bells in the first place. By the time you’ve finished upgrading all of these, preparing a feast will be a must-do activity before venturing out to face any of the Legendary Animals.

  • Bakeshops, breweries, grain farms, fowl farms, Karis House, Alvis and Holger’s House, Hunwald and Swanburrow’s House, cattle farms, and the Mayda’s House are all included.

Settlement Decorations

(Image courtesy of Ubisoft.) Last but not least, don’t forget to adorn your colony. Place decorations on the ground where you see a little wooden dragon plinth, and you’ll be able to make that stretch of ground your own. Purchasing fresh ones with Helix credits in the shop or paying over Opal at Reda’s stand are the only ways to obtain them. So if you want a Berserker vibe to your village or something a bit more green, you can make Ravensthorpe your own by customizing even the center tree.

AC Valhalla Let’s Get Festive Guide

You must decorate Ravensthorpe in order to complete the Let’s Get Festive in AC Valhalla mission. Now let’s have a look at how to get started on this quest and what Eivor is expected to do.

How to Start Let’s Get Festive

If you speak with Norvid when the Ostara Event is taking place, he will tell you how to decorate the settlement to commemorate the occasion of the festival. He will want your assistance in placing holiday decorations throughout the community and making Ravensthorpe a more festive location, which is how you may begin this side quest quickly. While you’re talking to Norvid, inquire about decorating ideas, and he’ll be happy to share his knowledge with you. Also see |How to Get Altair’s Outfit for Free|

How to Decorate Ravensthorpe

Following the markers will lead you to things that can be embellished. If you require any more assistance in locating the dragon heads and/or pedestals, consult your Raven. When you interact with them, you will receive the prompt “Decorative Element.” Choose any cosmetic item from the Settlement because it doesn’t really matter which one you choose. Once you’ve placed five Decorations, return to Norvid and speak with him. As a reward, he will offer you 50 Festival Tokens, and this will bring you to the end of the Let’s Get Festive task in ACP Valhalla.

AC Valhalla Ostara Festival Can’t Decorate Bug Fix

Is it possible that a problem is preventing you from decorating Ravensthorpe? This is a problem that many gamers are experiencing. If the dragon head platforms do not show for you, be sure to reload your previous save before continuing. It may or may not be effective, but it is worth a go. Players have reported other problems, including a game-crashing issue and freezing during the Viking Brawl, in addition to these. Update: Assassin’s Creed ValhallaUpdate 1.2.0.1 is now live, and it solves the Ostara Festival Crashes that were previously reported.

Take a look at Gamer Tweak for instructions on how to finish the quest.

Let’s Get Festive Guide – Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

A unique side objective for Norvid may be completed during the Ostara Festival, which players can learn more about here. The goal of this side objective in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is for players to decorate their colony with five different types of decorations. To finish this assignment, refer to our comprehensive Let’s Get Festive guide, which may be found below. Take note that Ubisoft has published a new update that will allow players to accomplish this assignment successfully. As of the 26th of March, version 3.01 is released.

How to Start Let’s Get Festive

Talking to Norvid at his stand in your community during the Ostara Festival is the first step toward completing this objective. When you first meet Norvid, he will express his dissatisfaction with the lack of decorations in the settlement. This lack of decorating is detrimental at a time when it is appropriate to celebrate. Norvid has come up with a solution to this problem. Norvid will next ask you to assist him in bringing life to the village by installing some of your own decorations throughout it.

Place 5 Settlement Decorations

The Let’s Get Festive side objective is quite straightforward to complete. All that is required of you is to run around to the various village decorations and either install a new decoration or change the existing one. It doesn’t matter what kind of ornamentation you use. It may be anything at all. For every decoration you install or replace, you will get one point towards your mission progress. To fulfill the objective, repeat the process on five other settlement decorating areas. Once you’ve finished putting or changing your settlement decorations, return to Norvid to finish the job.

Obtaining this prize brings the quest to a close.

  • Several Wrath of the Druids – Children of Danu places may be found.

Earlier this week, Ubisoft stated that it has implemented a server-side update in response to an increase in crashes near Ravensthorpe. It has been confirmed that settlement decorations will be temporarily removed, and that new Ostara Festival quests involving decorations will not be able to be completed during this time. The business stated that it intended to offer a permanent patch as soon as possible. A remedy to the difficulties, according to an update provided earlier in the day, “should be ready early next week,” according to the company.

Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has temporarily removed settlement decorations

Ubisoft is now working on a permanent solution to the crashing difficulties in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, and in the meanwhile, the game’s village decorations have been temporarily removed. It will be unable to complete some of the objectives associated with the Ostara festival until the update is implemented. The Ostara celebration is now taking place and will continue for the next two weeks until April 8th. It brings back elements of the activities that were introduced during the Yule celebration, as well as introducing new quests and activities to the game.

In addition, you may purchase a rainbow skin for Synin, some flowery Ostara tattoos, and themed settlement decorations to personalize your character.

The permanent solution should be delivered this week at the latest.

Following that, on April 29th, we will see the release of the first Valhalla expansion, Wrath of the Druids.

Additionally, you will be charged with conquering ring forts and interfering with Dublin’s trading system, which will offer a new form of gameplay to the game.

It is “a tremendous thank you” from Ubisoft to the community for “playing, talking, and assisting us in improving Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.” The Godly Reward includes Altair’s Outfit, the Yule gear set and cosmetics, and 300 opals, all of which are completely free of charge.
